Memories of a Man

“Pass through life with minimal regret.  Do not forget the one who stood by you for she was the rock that pushed you to carve your accomplishments.

Time has allowed you the beautiful opportunity to share your heart and skillful mind. The mind may wonder but it is important not to lose track of time. Or perhaps, lose track of everything in her beautiful eyes.”

Motionless

“Lie there weightless, glued eternally to the earth. Your extremities stuck, for the energy it would take to get up has surpassed you. Chills turn to numbness. Numbness turns to pressure.  Pressure overtakes the body and fills it with pain.

One day the pain will fade the pressure will release and numbness will fade.

But first you must accept that you are anything but ordinary in this extraordinary life.”

Endless Road

"The mind can tell the body where to go. But only the body can sense where it has been. When the mind and the body are set to travel make sure the body is a few steps ahead.

For the mind that never lets the body ahead is unable to truly see the beauty of this world that lies ahead."

My Mind

"In a sound I hear what I need. In a sound I see how I have been deceived.

If I am not treated these thoughts will make my mind bleed."

the artist...

Poetry has been a natural hobby of mine for as long as I can remember. Starting a year ago I really wanted to bring my poetry to life through music, which was the big motivation for me completing Idols of The Tribe. After I finished "Sweet Tooth," I wanted to challenge myself as an artist to create a song with a deeper meaning. Painfully and therapeutically, I pulled together memories for "Lost & Not Found." I am currently working on a single that should be ready in the coming months. When I'm not pouring over poetry or song ideas, I am a full-time firefighter and enjoy mixed martial arts. It also goes without saying that I would never shy away from a good cup of coffee.
